Gentle Buckskin Quarter Horse Gelding

Registered Buckskin Dun Quarter Horse Gelding, 12 years old, 15 hands tall, 1100 pounds. Outstanding bloodlines including Poco Bueno, Three Bars, Doc Bar & Peppy San. Doc has a very nice disposition with good conformation. Gentle, anyone can ride. Doc is not at all spooky - nothing seems to bother him, he is bold on the trails, can be ridden out by himself and can be taken anywhere. Also, he has been ridden downtown and he has been in parades. I am over 65 years of age and I enjoy riding Doc. Also, my granddaughters ride him. The boy riding him in the pictures is 16 years of age. Doc works very well in the round pen, his ground work is excellent and he is easy to work with. Doc neck reins and he knows leg pressure and works very nicely in the arena. He has an excellent stop on him. Awesome mountain trail horse. Goes through rivers and streams, over pack bridges and crosses over downfall easily. Doc has been on several back country pack trips in the wilderness. You can lead the pack string off of him or you can use him as a pack horse. Doc has packed wall tents, wood stoves, pack boxes, paniards, and hay bales. He has moved cattle from summer pasture to winter pasture. Also, he has been roped off of. Doc has a friendly disposition and is willing to please. Doc would also make a great kids horse, he would be an excellent 4-H horse. He learns new skills quickly. He stands quietly to get on and off. Doc loads/unloads into the trailer easily, and he stands quietly for the farrier.
Must go to a good home. $9500 cash.
