AQHA Grandson of Colonel Freckles

Come take a look at this great gelding. Very athletic. I put him out in the roundpen and he does rollbacks, spins and slides.Paid into the Incentive Fund. Super cute yearling gelding. Ready to go. Bred for cow work(has been introduced to cows).

AQHA Grandson of Colonel Freckles

Would make a great working cow horse prospect! He's more of a blood  bay. This is old breeding with COLONEL FRECKLES/BUENO CHEX and DRY DOC. Great calm combination! Austin is out of an own son of COLONEL FRECKLES who won the NCHA Futurity and is in the Hall of Fame. The FRECKLE FACED KID was the 1986 Champion Stallion, World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity; 1986 preliminaries Champion, World Championship Snaffle Bit, Champion Fence Work, Champion Idaho Snaffle Bit Futurity, Reserve Champion PCQHA Spectacular Reining Stakes, Champion Hackamore Southern Oregon Horse Olympics and Champion Hackamore Class Idaho Snaffle Bit Futurity. He just passed away this year.
Olivers Nancy Bar is on the dam's papers and she was one of Dean Olivers best roping horses. You ropers know who Dean Oliver is!! The  dam is line bred BUENO CHEX JR and then BUENO CHEX AND DRY DOC one generation back. DRY DOC is in the Hall of Fame and BUENO CHEX has won a ton also. Cassie has been used for reining, roping, cutting and trail riding. She is very calm and easy to work with.
Austin is pretty quiet most of the time but as a yearling he does have the energy. He ties, trailers, clips, UTD on shots, worming and feet. Will entertain all offers. Would make great SBF prospect.
